Stoke Hall is a fine to medium buff coloured stone from the Millstone Grit of Carboniferous age. Overall, Stoke Hall is suitable for most aspects of construction including load bearing masonry and cladding. More versatile applications include detailed Fireplaces as well as restoration and renovation stone work. The stone is extracted from the Stoke Hall Quarry, Grindleford on the outskirts of Hope Valley, Derbyshire
