We have a proven process for all specification projects: involving us from concept stage will ensure that you realise your design effectively, to everyone’s satisfaction and within budget:

Concept

As soon as you are considering using natural stone, talk to us. We can help you to quickly identify the most suitable stones for your project, based on local planning requirements, geographical location and physical suitability for the design you are planning.

Share our expertise

If you want to learn more about dimensional stone, we can provide RIBA approved CPDs. Samples

Stone being a natural product may vary significantly in colour and texture within the same range of stone. Project advice

Our architecturally trained and qualified field based specification consultants can discuss your proposed construction method in detail with you, including guidance on costings and value engineering opportunities, in line with your budget requirements. Talk to us on 01629 653000.

Specification

At specification stage, we can provide the latest performance test data for all our stones. NBS specifications for all stones are also available at www.thenbs.com.

Technical support and assurance

Throughout the specification process we provide strong technical support and assurance to you – from independent test data on individual stone performance and construction advice, to the assurances provided by the support of a major plc. Click here for more information.

Project management

Once ordered, each project is allocated to an internal project manager, who will liaise with you throughout the order processing and production phase, through to delivery to site.

Masonry Processing

Your order will be produced at one of our regional masonry sites. Machine routing and hand finishing requirements will be tailored to your specific project. All our masonry processing sites are ISO 9001 accredited.

Delivery to site

Throughout the production process, our internal project manager will work with you to ensure that products are delivered according to your required schedule.
